The Power of the Spirit: A Life of Faith, Hope, and Love

The Power of the Spirit: A Life of Faith, Hope, and Love ======================================================== Introduction ------------ In this blog, we will explore the power of the spirit and its impact on our lives. At Ami Allelujah Ministries International, we believe in the Bible and Christ. We are Christ-centered, and Jesus is at the heart of everything we believe and do. Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, empowering and equipping believers to share the love and hope found in Christ. We firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that His power is still at work in the church today. The Victory of Jesus Christ --------------------------- Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary, enduring mockery and defeat. However, His death was not a defeat, but a victory. The ways of God are not our ways, and what may seem like a defeat to the world is actually a triumph in God's eyes. It doesn't matter where y...

WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES MIDNIGHT

WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES MIDNIGHT    Matthew 24:3, "As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Brothers and Sisters, the disciples' question on the Mount of Olives remains one that has echoed through the ages. It's a question filled with a mix of anticipation and trepidation – when will our Lord return, and how will we know? Jesus, in His wisdom, provides not a precise calendar date but a series of signs and a timeless call to readiness. BODY  The False Alarms Jesus begins by warning us about false alarms. He says, "See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray." Throughout history, there have been countless self-proclaimed messiahs, prophets, and doomsayers. They prey on the faithful, manipulating fear an...

THE GREATEST IS ABOUT TO BE SEEN

THE GREATEST IS ABOUT TO BE SEEN Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Today, I stand before you with a message that stirs my soul – a message whispered on the wind, a promise etched in the stars: THE GREATEST IS ABOUT TO BE SEEN! We live in a world that bombards us with fleeting greatness. Powerful leaders rise and fall. Fortunes are made and lost. Yet, the Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:19: "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal." True greatness, my friends, is not found in the things of this world, but in the things of God. Turn with me to the book of Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 5: "Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places smooth."  Here, the prophet speaks of a coming transformation, a time when the world as we know it will be reshaped. This is not merely a promise of a changed landscape, b...

JOHN 3 FROM THE BIBLE

Image
In the timeless tapestry woven by the words of the apostle John, we embark on a journey of introspection and revelation. As we delve deeper into the epistle addressed to Gaius, we are beckoned to unravel the layers of wisdom and guidance encapsulated within its verses. With every turn of phrase and subtle nuance, John's timeless message echoes through the annals of history, transcending the barriers of time and space to resonate with us today. The humility and maturity embodied in his choice to be known simply as "the elder" serve as a reminder of the power of self-effacement and the enduring legacy of a life well-lived in service of faith. In Gaius, we encounter a figure whose very existence embodies the virtues extolled by John - steadfastness in the face of adversity, compassion towards fellow believers, and unwavering support for those spreading the message of Christ. Through the contrasting examples of Gaius and Diotrephes, John paints a vivid portrait of the choices...

SHAKING OFF THE DUST:

SHAKING OFF THE DUST:  MOVING ON WITH GRACE //BY APOSTLE DHAMBE FRED Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Today, we turn to a passage in Matthew 10:14-16, where Jesus instructs his disciples as they embark on their mission to spread the Gospel. The verse that resonates with us today is: "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." These words can be easily misinterpreted, leading us to believe that rejection should be met with anger or even contempt. However, a deeper understanding reveals a message of grace and moving forward with dignity.   Understanding the Context: Firstly, we must remember the context. Jesus was sending his disciples, like sheep among wolves, into a world often hostile to his message. Rejection was inevitable. Shaking off the dust of their feet was not a curse, but a symbolic act. It signified leaving behind those who refused to hear the message, without harboring resen...

RECEIVING THE KINGDOM LIKE A CHILD!

Receiving the Kingdom Like a Child! We find that while Jesus was about the towns and villages around Galilee, people brought their little children to Jesus for Him to bless. Somehow, this was seen as a disruption to what Christ was doing. The disciples rebuked those people who brought their children to Jesus, but Jesus sets the record straight and our text for today reveals what He said. So often, instead of doing what God re quires of us, we tend to do what we think is what God wants us to do. In this case, the disciples were on the wrong side of understanding what Christ wanted from everyone present. Are we getting in the way of our children and pushing them aside so that we can get a better view of what is happening? The world has many wrong perceptions concerning children that need correcting. Children are viewed as discardable tissue or part of a woman’s body and thus can be aborted at their convenience. Luke 18:17 “But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little ch...
